42-1/2” X 70-7/8”

Eroded Identity is a compelling exploration of the effects of time and experience on the human psyche. Rendered in grayscale, this portrait depicts a face marked by textures and patterns reminiscent of weathered stone or peeling paint. The somber palette and intricate detailing create a sense of depth and introspection, inviting viewers to consider the layers of emotion and memory that shape our identities. The subject's eyes, deeply expressive and almost haunting, draw the viewer into a narrative of resilience and vulnerability. This piece reflects on how life's challenges and transformations leave indelible marks, both visible and invisible, on our sense of self.
